This blog began as a livejournal about three or so years ago when I left the United States for the first time to spend my junior year of college abroad.  That first stint in Europe was spent in Dijon, France.  My livejournal was a way for me to keep track of my experiences, my thoughts, and to keep in touch with people back in the U.S.  I revived my blogging in August 2007 when I left for another ten months in France - Paris, France, to be more specific.

Truth be told I did not do very much writing towards the end of my time in Paris.  Now I am back in the U.S. and beginning a new adventure in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  It's my first time living in the west and the first time in my life that I have not had some sort of school, program or job lined up.  That is to say, I moved here unemployed and have my fingers crossed that life will take care of itself (well, with a little help from me, I suppose).  And hopefully along the way I'll be able to do a bit more writing and hopefully that writing will help me to maintain sanity and memories and such.  Et voila.
